Grand Opera House Belfast
Client: Patrick. F. O’Reilly
Project: Grand Opera House Belfast
Date: 2017
Description
The Grand Opera House is one of Belfast’s most important buildings, the city’s foremost cultural asset, and the only remaining Victorian theatre in Northern Ireland. Patrick F O’Reilly engaged us to design and erect a fully boarded and sheeted access scaffold with a covered pedestrian gantry.
Given the sensitivity and architectural features of the building the scaffold design was carefully conceived to ensure that all features were protected, whilst providing access where required for restoration works.
The project was successfully delivered to allow the unwrapping of a refreshed version of this iconic building for many future generations to enjoy.
